Consultation

On 12 November 2003, Extant in partnership with Arts Council England' and the Royal National Theatre held an event at the Terrace Café, National theatre, which aimed to:

• Launch the Focus Group Seminar Report.
• Influence decision makers and create better awareness within the establishment of the access needs of visually impaired audience members and performers.
• Engage key strategic bodies actively in the development of the report recommendations.

A number of presentations were given by visually impaired artists, audience members and arts organisations based on the recommendations contained within the report entitled Changing the Scene.
